Objectives and Challenges
ID Logistics fully understood that service reliability, data protection, and cyber resilience were mission-critical to its operations. Facing growing technological challenges and a rapidly evolving business environment, the company made a deliberate decision to migrate to an advanced cloud solution that guarantees business continuity.
Joint Action
To develop a solution tailored to the client’s needs, a series of workshops was held, including visits to the company’s headquarters in Katowice and the T-Mobile Data Centre in Warsaw.
A key stage of the process was a monitored Proof of Concept (PoC), during which T-Mobile specialists showcased the proposed environment in action. This allowed the ID Logistics team to verify the performance and stability of the solution first-hand.
Implementation
Four virtual firewall instances were deployed at the network edge – two in each data centre – to provide mechanisms for traffic control and user protection from external threats.
ID Logistics also opted for the Virtual Data Centre environment with synchronous storage replication built on MetroCluster arrays. The partner’s systems now operate in a high-availability environment, independent of any potential data centre failures, with data backups handled through the Business Backup tool.
