About the company
Boryszew S.A. Maflow branch in Tychy is a manufacturer of rubber and plastic components used in car air-conditioning systems. The Maflow Group comprises 11 plants across countries such as: Poland, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil, India, China and Mexico. The Company is committed to maintaining and continuously evolving an efficient organisation, technology as well as expanding into more markets.
The customers of the Maflow Group’s products include the world’s major car corporations, such as: Volkswagen, General Motors, Renault Nissan, Jaguar Land Rover, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Volvo Car Corporation, BMW, FCA oraz Volvo GTT, Daimler Truck, Scania i Paccar Group.

Challenge

A dozen production plants across four continents required a stable and reliable connection. Until then, the European locations had been interconnected via a VPLS line, while branches in North America, South America and Asia had used a VPN. This solution proved troublesome for some countries. Moreover, to deliver the best data transmission quality, it was necessary to select the connection path manually on each occasion.
What did the Customer seek?
Maflow was in need of a solution that would facilitate constant, secure and trouble-free communication between its branches around the globe. What was essential for the company was the optimisation of work by automating the management of network traffic between plants. Furthermore, the new solution had to secure stable connections to challenging markets subject to numerous international regulations and restrictions, such as China, to name but a few.

SD-WAN
The SD-WAN network from T-Mobile enabled the integration of Boryszew S.A.’s existing lines with new ones both in Europe and beyond. We supplied and installed CPE modems, configured the SD-WAN infrastructure, and integrated it with the Customer’s resources.
The flexible approach to the project resulted in cost optimisation and the construction of a network that meets the investor’s requirements completely.
